About TBD

The Purpose

The Best Designs recognizes the best Flash and CSS web sites from around the world. Websites are categorized by CSS or Flash and also by elements of the design. TBD is usually updated every weekday, with the exception of holidays.

The Process

After a website is submitted to the gallery, it goes through a review process to determine its acceptance. If a website is accepted to the gallery, the person who submitted the website is notified and the website is added. Due to the volume of submissions, we can only respond to websites that are accepted.

The History

TBD was launched in 2001, and in 2006, it was re-structured to include design categories.

The Visitors

Most of TheBestDesigns.com's visitors consist of creative professionals, developers, and business owners. Many of TBD's visitors come from Google searches for design and web design and from many other industry sites. TBD has also been featured as one of the "Top Ten Design Resources" by How Design Magazine.

Charity

Please visit The Cooley's Anemia Foundation to learn about a fatal, inherited blood disorder called Thalassemia. Many children and young adults suffer from this inherited blood disorder. A very special person named Lisa passed away from Thalassemia on April 2, 2004 at the age of 34.
